About the role
Are you an experienced Account Manager or Customer Service Professional with a background in freight / transport / logistics / 4PL looking for an opportunity to step into a truly dedicated, embedded Account Management role? If so, this might just be the role for you.
As a Dedicated Account Manager at Myfreight, you will be the primary point of contact and accountability for a major national client account. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Keysborough, with one day per week at our Ringwood head office. You'll work closely with the client's warehouse and office teams day-to-day, managing end-to-end national logistics performance and acting as the critical link between the client and Myfreight's internal teams, carriers, and stakeholders.
This role reports to the Customer Experience Manager and sits within our National Sales & Marketing team.

Primary accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Your day-to-day will be diverse and fast-paced, spanning relationship management, performance reporting, compliance, and operational support:
Act as the dedicated, on-site representative for a major national account taking full accountability for national logistics performance
Produce and deliver daily reporting across key metrics including cost, DIFOT, pickups, customer service enquiries and resolutions
Manage carrier performance against SLA metrics, conducting frequent performance and improvement meetings with carriers servicing the client
Provide both proactive and escalation-level attention to customer service enquiries and complaints
Identify and report opportunities for alternative solutions that improve cost or service outcomes
Manage and log Dangerous Goods and Compliance matters in line with Chain of Responsibility requirements
Host and facilitate weekly internal stakeholder meetings, setting and tracking action points
Conduct regular training sessions for client users and identify gaps in system usage
Perform weekly pre-invoicing checks - reconciling freight invoice discrepancies by reviewing finance exception reports and validating charge variances against quoted rates
Prepare strategic reviews, forecasts, and custom analytics reports for internal and external stakeholders
Provide daily updates to the National Sales Manager on activity, milestones, and priorities
Support and participate in management and professional development meetings
What we're looking for
Experience in Account Management or Customer Service, within 4PL, freight or logistics
Strong administration skills with high attention to detail, particularly around reporting and data reconciliation
The ability to work professionally and amicably with warehouse and executive staff
Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate to advanced), Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent analysis and reporting skills and competency in building and presenting performance data
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships at all levels
Experience managing carrier or supplier performance against contracted SLAs
Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Dangerous Goods compliance is a strong advantage
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently in a client-facing environment
