About the Role
A Day in the Life Our Global Diabetes Capability Center is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and Technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Minimed's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. Position Description:
Remote/Inside Sales is an innovative service provided by MiniMed, this service will offer a single dedicated product expert who will assist our territory with timely and accurate information. The Remote Sales team in Diabetes is located in MiniMed head office in Sydney. An Inside Sales Representative will have a consultative approach to sales, working as a partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance our product range and offerings. You will have the ability to source, develop and close deals for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate. In this role, you will achieve and ideally exceed territory sales revenue and growth targets for MiniMed products and services. They will support MiniMed sales, business development, marketing strategies and practice professional and effective territory management including organisation, administration, inventory management. This role will offer the opportunity to be trained and gain experience in supporting our market leading technology across a broad range of procedures. Position Responsibilities:
Drive sales by developing, identifying, and securing all relevant direct sales opportunities.
Serve as a specialist for our products across all ANZ accounts to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and all the relevant goals and metrics.
Generate market interest and close sales by executing product and segment marketing activities such as product demonstrations, focus areas or campaigns.
Actively solicit all MiniMed product opportunities, referring leads as appropriate.
Build relationships and trust with customers, be a key part of their buying decisions.
Understand customer buying patterns and use it to schedule calls 1.
Contribute to the fiscal revenue goal and propose/define tactical activities.
Responsibilities as a MiniMed Employee:

Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or government regulations.
All other duties as assigned.
Travel requirement: less than 25%.
Experience and Knowledge: Specialised Knowledge and Experience Required
Experience in field sales, remote sales, sales support and administration
Experience working in the healthcare industry




Experience working with SFDC or similar CRM system advantageous
Proven sales and negotiations experience
Experience in making multiple outbound phone sales calls on a daily basis
Ability to build strong customer (internal and external) relationships throughout a customer organisation, at all levels
Experience in a "team oriented" sales environment
Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
Understanding customer needs and requirements

Qualifications and previous experience:
Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § *****(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience)
