The
role:
We are looking for permanent full-time team member to work Monday 8:00am – 4:30pm and Tuesday to Friday 8am to 4.00pm in our Salvage Vehicle area at our Altona North site. This is a fast-paced role and you will be required to work both outside and inside an operational shed with various terrains, including gravel.
Responsibilities:
Operate a 5-tonne forklift to load, unload & shift vehicles in and around the operational shed and open areas for our onsite Salvage Customers.
Perform forklift duties on an open loading pad and maneuvering vehicles around the yard.




Enter stock movements and conduct vehicle stock takes via handheld tech units.
Maintain the vehicle storage area within our salvage yard.
Skills & Experiences:

Have a current forklift and driver's license.
Strong commitment to Safety.
Willing to undergo background checks (Police and Work Rights) and a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol test) as part of the recruitment process.Please note:we also conduct random drug and alcohol tests onsite.
Some knowledge or interest in the automotive industry would be advantageous.
Basic computer skills.
Any previous experience with loading and unloading and stock maintenance would be advantageous.
