The position of Communication Technology Coordinator provides akey operational functionwithin the Workplace Technology section in the Information Services Division. The role assists in providing the efficient delivery of network services, meeting room and emerging computer technology to end users.
The position coordinates state-wide adoption and support of meeting room technologies. Technical support for network infrastructure, Microsoft Teams devices, including Teams Rooms, Dante enabled devices, and 3rd party control systems. Coordinates the Apple and Google Play mobile app development and management process ensuring compliance with the Department mobile application framework. Review, tests and recommend adoption of recent and emerging end user technologies.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Victorian Drivers Licence is required.
Demonstrated experience providing senior level ICT end-user support within a complex enterprise environment.
Relevant qualifications in Information Technology and/or IT Service Management, including ITIL v4 Foundation certification or equivalent.
Experience using IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
Proven experience working within an ITIL based service delivery environment, including incident, request, problem and change management processes.
Demonstrated experience managing contractors and service providers, including coordination of electrical, communications and data cabling works.
Strong vendor management skills,
with the ability to independently manage supplier relationships.
Experience supporting regional or geographically dispersed sites and coordinating onsite technical services.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
