About the role
Based in Nipaluna (Hobart), you'll play a key role in strengthening Hydro Tasmania's risk and resilience capability. Working closely with the Head of Enterprise Risk & Assurance, you'll oversee the Integrated Business Risk Management Framework, Business Continuity Framework, Security of Critical Infrastructure program and Emergency Management Framework. You'll partner with leaders across the business to identify, assess and mitigate risk, support enterprise-wide resilience planning, and drive continuous improvement in risk culture. This role offers broad organisational exposure, significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making across Tasmania's largest renewable energy business.
Note, this role is a full time seven month fixed term contract.
Base salary starting from $158,571 plus super

Advise leaders on risk identification, controls and mitigation

Manage RiskConnect, risk registers and continuity documentation
Coordinate SOCI compliance obligations and reporting activities
Facilitate strategic risk reviews, reporting and assurance programs
Prioritise by importance - put the most critical tasks first

Qualification in Risk, Governance, Business or similar
Experience managing enterprise risk frameworks
Knowledge of ISO ***** risk management principles
Experience developing business continuity plans
Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills
