Are you an experienced and confident early childhood educator looking for a permanent part time position in a warm, supportive and community-focused centre?
Gumnut Cottage Child Care Centre is looking for a passionate educator to join our team.
We are a community-based, not-for-profit early childhood centre where children are at the heart of everything we do. We value strong relationships, play-based learning, natural environments, professional growth and educators who genuinely enjoy being part of a team.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Has experience working confidently within an early childhood setting
Builds warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children
Is confident in their knowledge of the EYLF and play-based learning
Is enthusiastic about supporting children's agency, independence and learning
Is comfortable supporting children to engage in appropriate risky and adventurous play
Can work collaboratively and positively as part of a team
Is reliable,



professional and willing to contribute to the wider life of the centre
Values reflective practice and ongoing professional development
Is passionate about providing high-quality care and education for children and their families
