Manage the day-to-day operations of the grocery store.
Supervise, coordinate and manage retail staff, including staff scheduling and rostering.
Recruit, train and develop employees as required.
Monitor staff performance and ensure workplace procedures are followed.
Plan and coordinate purchasing and replenishment of stock.
Manage relationships and negotiations with suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, wastage and stock availability.
Coordinate receiving, storage and merchandising of products.
Develop and implement pricing, promotional and merchandising strategies.
Monitor daily sales and store performance against targets.
Prepare and review sales and operational reports.
Manage customer service and resolve customer complaints.
Ensure appropriate cash-handling, workplace health and safety and store procedures are followed.




Monitor operating costs and assist with budgeting and financial management.
Coordinate promotional activities and product displays.
Identify opportunities to improve sales, customer service and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian workplace and retail requirements.
Take responsibility for the overall presentation, performance and effective operation of the store.
Pay: $75,****** – $85,****** per year
