The opportunityGladstone Sheet metal is seeking an enthusiastic fabricator/ sheet metal workers to join our team.
This is a full-time role based in Gladstone and Central Queensland, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sheet metal and fabrication work as part of our Trades & Services operations.
What you'll be doing
Fabricate and install a range of metal products including ductwork, mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel fabricated products and other custom items
Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation
Operate various sheet metal machinery and tools such as press brakes, folders, shears and welding equipment
Carry out routine maintenance and quality checks on equipment
Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to specification
Maintain a safe and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols
What we're looking for
Trade qualification in sheet metal fabrication or a related discipline
Experience as a sheet metal tradesman, ideally within the HVAC or manufacturing industries but not essential
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Skilled in operating a range of sheet metal machinery and tools, including welding equipment




Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
A proactive approach to safety and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organised work environment
