About the RolesDue to recently awarded contracts and a growing pipeline of work, we're expanding our team and seeking Sheet Metal and Light Fabrication Trades people in Gympie.
These are hands-on roles involving predominantly workshop-based work, with occasional site installations.
What You'll Be Doing
Fabrication and welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components
Polishing and blending of stainless steel and aluminium components (highly regarded)
Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
Interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
Operating workshop equipment and hand tools while maintaining clean and safe working conditions
Assisting with site installations as required
Completing job documentation and contributing to quality control processes
Supporting apprentices and contributing to a strong team environment
What We're Looking For
Trade qualified in a relevant trade (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication, Light Fabrication, or Sheet Metal)
Minimum of 3 year's experience in a similar role




Previous Leading Hand experience would be highly regarded
Experience in MIG, TIG, and MMA welding
Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
Reliable, safety-conscious, and proactive attitude
White Card, current driver's licence, and Forklift Ticket (or willingness to obtain)
Full working rights in Australia
