We're looking for an organised, caring and proactive Administration & Kids Support Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in supporting children, families and the day-to-day operations of one of Western Australia's most respected charities.
This is much more than an administration role.
It's an opportunity to become the welcoming face of Variety WA while helping deliver life-changing grants, programs and events for children living with disability, chronic illness and disadvantage.
Working across reception, office administration and our Kids Support team, you'll help keep our organisation running smoothly while providing practical support to families, volunteers, staff and the wider community.
From coordinating grants and assisting with children's programs to supporting Motor Mouth Camp and helping capture inspiring impact stories, no two days are the same.

About the roleReporting to the Executive Manager, and working closely with our Kids Support Manager, you'll provide professional administration and front-of-house support across the organisation while assisting with the delivery of our Kids Support programs and services.
Your work will include:
Welcoming visitors, families,
supporters and members of the public as the first point of contact for Variety WA.
Providing reception, telephone and general office administration support.
Assisting with grants, scholarships and Kids Support program administration.
Coordinating administration for Motor Mouth Camp and other children's programs.
Preparing correspondence, reports, meeting papers and organisational documentation.
Maintaining accurate records within Salesforce and other administrative systems.
Liaising with children, families, schools, health professionals and service providers with professionalism and empathy.
Collecting recipient stories, testimonials and impact information that helps showcase the difference Variety WA makes.
Supporting organisational events, fundraising activities and community programs.
Contributing ideas to improve office systems, administration processes and the overall experience for families and stakeholders.
This is a varied, hands-on role offering plenty of diversity, autonomy and the opportunity to become an integral member of a passionate and supportive team.
About youWe're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
You'll ideally have:
Experience in administration, reception, customer service or office support.
Excellent organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A professional, friendly and welcoming manner.
Confidence managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
The ability to quickly learn CRM systems such as Salesforce.
A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently and collaboratively.
Sound judgement,
discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
A genuine passion for supporting children, families and the community.
Experience working within the not-for-profit, disability, education, healthcare or community sectors, or experience supporting events or programs, would be highly regarded but isn't essential.
