About the role
Miniversity Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) Bachelor Qualified to join our team in Mundingburra, QLD.
This is a part-time position that offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's development and learning during these critical early years.
As an ECT, you will be responsible for creating engaging, nurturing and educationally stimulating environments that support children's growth across all developmental domains.
Your expertise and enthusiasm will be integral to delivering high-quality early childhood education services that align with the Australian Curriculum and regulatory frameworks.
Key responsibilities
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, emotional, physical and social development
Create safe, inclusive and welcoming environments that support all children's participation and engagement
Assess and document children's learning progress using appropriate observation and evaluation methods
Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's development, achievements and wellbeing
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of care, safety and hygiene within the centre
Support children's transitions through routines such as mealtimes, rest periods and outdoor play
Respond sensitively to children's individual needs, interests and learning styles
Maintain accurate records and participate in reflective practice to continually improve teaching quality
Adhere to all centre policies, regulatory requirements and duty of care responsibilities
What we're looking for
A recognised Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
Current Working with Children Check (or eligibility to obtain one)
Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and learning theories
Solid understanding of the Australian Curriculum:
Foundation to Year 1 or equivalent early learning frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, families and colleagues
Ability to plan and implement inclusive, play-based learning experiences
Commitment to maintaining professional standards and engaging in ongoing professional development
Physical capability to support active play and care routines with young children
Experience working within early childhood education settings is highly desirable
Current or willingness to undertake First Aid and CPR certification
