The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join thriving 25 bed Mental Health Unit at Mayo Private Hospital.
Reporting to our Nurse Unit Manager, you will work within a supportive, dynamic team of dedicated nurses and allied health professionals along with psychologists and psychiatrists, providing quality, evidenced based care.
Our unit is voluntary admission and offers a safe, relaxed and secure unit with in-house group therapy and individual therapy sessions customized to our patients and their care.
Will consider applicants interested in joining our casual pool.
Essential Criteria:
Current registration with APHRA
Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience
Comprehensive clinical skills & experience within the Mental Health environment
Experience in policy development and implementation
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure environment
Effective communication and time management
Current NSW working with children check
National Police Check certificate – No older than 3 months on application
Desirable Criteria
Post Graduate Qualification within Mental Health
Experience in the Hospitals Patient Information System - WebPAS
