The Role
The Domestic Cleaner is responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services while fostering respectful and positive interactions with clients, their families, staff, and others, always reflecting Amana Living's Core Values.
This role is being offered on a Casual basis, driving to different clients' homes throughout the day.
Key responsibilities:
Cleaning Services
Deliver a high standard of cleaning across clients' homes to maintain a safe, healthy, and comfortable workplace.
Follow individual care plans to ensure consistent and hygienic cleaning, helping reduce the risk of infection.
Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment supplied by Amana Living, in line with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and product instructions.
Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including the correct and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure safe handling, application, and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
Safety & Compliance
Comply with Amana Living's Support at Home policies and procedures.
Follow infection control standards and safe work practices at all times.
Support and promote occupational health and safety compliance in line with Amana Living's regulations.
Ensure timely reporting of any incidents or hazards as per procedures.
Personal Conduct & Development
Engage respectfully and professionally with clients, their families, staff, and others in the work environment, demonstrating Amana Living's Core Values.




Attend mandatory training sessions and staff meetings as required by the Hospitality Consultant.
Take responsibility for improving work practices and contributing to personal and professional development.
About you
You are a reliable and professional individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services while building positive relationships with clients, their families, and team members.
With a professional presentation, proactive attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, you contribute to a supportive and efficient work environment.
Essential Criteria:
Evidence of Current Flu vaccination per Amana Living policies
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
Valid Driver License
Proven organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
Willingness to attend 2 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
