Onsite Embedded Technician – 5/4 Roster
We are looking for a talented Field Service Mechanic to join our high performing field service team.
The Gunnedah Basin mining region is home to over 170 Cummins High Horsepower engines , powering a range of mining equipment.
Boggabri Coal mine site.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
First responder to breakdown eventsFleet maintenanceCapturing engine dataFault diagnosticsDiverse range engine repairs,



both major and minorWorking autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environmentWork with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu and LiebherrThe face of Cummins at the customer site
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary)Field service experience preferred coupled with heavy duty engine experienceStrong engine diagnostic experienceThe ability to work autonomously/remotely for extended periodsA valid driver's licenseGood interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
