Cairns Flat Packs is seeking a Cabinet Maker / workshop assembler to join our team in Cairns, QLD - on a full time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-established company in the tropical Cairns region.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32-$40 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
We also work 4.5 days per week with the opportunity for overtime.
Working Holiday Makers are welcome to apply.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with the production, assembly and preparation for dispatch our flat pack and pre-assembled cabinetry orders
Operate our Edge bander and CNC machine
Read and interpret technical drawings and designs
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard within agreed timelines
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar role
Strong workshop skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Attention to detail and quality of work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Relevant trade qualifications or certification in Cabinet Making
