About the opportunity:Shape the future of performing arts in Wollondilly.This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre (PAC) and play a defining role in establishing it as a premier performing arts, cultural and community destination for the region.
As the Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre Lead, you will bring vision, creativity and commercial insight to a landmark cultural facility, shaping its future direction and creating experiences that connect, inspire and engage the community.
You will lead an ambitious and diverse program of performing arts, community and commercial activity, maximising venue utilisation, growing audiences and identifying opportunities for partnerships, sponsorship, grants and revenue generation.
You will also lead and develop a high-performing, customer-focused team, fostering a positive and inclusive culture where people are empowered to deliver exceptional experiences.
Working collaboratively across Council, artists, presenters, hirers, community organisations, government, sponsors and industry partners, you will strengthen the PAC's profile and build strong connections across the region.
You will also identify opportunities to integrate the PAC with the broader Cultural Precinct and surrounding facilities to create a vibrant destination for the community.

To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:University degree qualifications and/or extensive experience in performing arts centre management or venue and event management or similar experience at a senior level.Demonstrated experience leading a performing arts venue, or a comparable venue, including driving strategic direction,



programming, venue utilisation, commercial performance and audience growth.Demonstrated financial management experience, including budget development, monitoring and identifying opportunities to improve commercial performance and long-term sustainability of the venue.Demonstrated experience building, leading and inspiring high-performing, customer-focused teams and fostering a positive, values-led culture to deliver exceptional customer experiences.A current registration, or the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain registration, as the Venue Approved Manager under the Liquor Act **** (NSW)A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card and Working with Children Check or willingness and ability to obtain prior to commencement
Please note, the position is subject to an open spread of hours on a rostered basis and includes after hours, weekend and public holiday work in accordance with the provisions of the Award.
