The Electrical Supervisor will responsible for leading and coordinating electrical personnel undertaking punch listing, defect rectification, brownfield modifications, and commissioning support on a gold processing plant on a 2:1 roster FIFO ex Perth.
The role ensures all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards while supporting the successful handover of plant systems to operations.
The Electrical Supervisor provides technical leadership, manages daily work activities, and works closely with the client, engineering, commissioning, and operations teams to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate electrical trades personnel and subcontractors.
Plan and prioritise daily punch list and modification activities to meet project schedules.
Allocate resources, monitor productivity, and ensure efficient execution of work.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and work packs.
Oversee installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Ensure all defect rectification works are completed in accordance with project quality requirements.
Coordinate electrical isolations and ensure compliance with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and daily planning sessions.
Monitor compliance with site safety procedures, permits, and statutory regulations.
Liaise with project management, engineering, commissioning, and operations personnel to resolve technical issues.
Manage quality inspections, red-line mark-ups, and completion documentation.
Assist with commissioning activities, functional testing, and plant handover.
Identify and manage risks while implementing corrective actions where required
Required Experience
Demonstrated experience supervising electrical works within mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial environments.
Experience delivering shutdowns, brownfield projects, commissioning, or plant modifications.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, electrical regulations, and mining safety legislation.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
Essential Qualifications
S26 Certification
WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Current Police Check
CPR/LVR certification.
Working at Heights.
Confined Space Entry.
White Card.
