About Us

The Social Space Psychology Clinic is a thriving private psychology practice based in Mascot, Sydney. We specialise in supporting children, adolescents, young adults and their families through evidence-based assessment and therapy.
/n
Our clinicians support children, adolescents and families across a broad range of presentations, with a particular focus on emotional wellbeing, neurodevelopment, social functioning and family relationships. Our work is team-oriented, evidence-based and tailored to each young person's unique strengths and needs.

About the Role
/n
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week) - immediately.
/n
You will primarily work with children and adolescents, providing high-quality therapeutic support while collaborating closely with parents, schools and other professionals.
/n
Your role may include:
/n
/n
- Delivering evidence-based psychological therapy to children and adolescents
/n
- Using play-based, creative and developmentally appropriate therapeutic approaches
/n
- Supporting parents and families alongside individual therapy
/n
- Liaising with schools, paediatricians and other professionals
/n
- Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation
/n
- Facilitating social skills groups and workshops (optional)
/n
- Contributing ideas and helping shape new programs within the clinic
/n/n
There is flexibility to develop a caseload aligned with your interests and areas of expertise.
/n
About You
/n
You are someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and adolescents and understands the importance of creating safe, engaging and meaningful therapeutic relationships.
/n
Experience supporting neurodivergent children, including Autism and ADHD, is highly regarded but not essential.
/n
Most importantly, you're compassionate, enthusiastic,
collaborative and committed to delivering exceptional client care.
/n
General or Clinical Registration with AHPRA
/n
Current Working With Children Check
/n
National Police Check
/n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
/n
Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice
/n
