Financial Accountant - 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract (Part Time)

The Chance

/n

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team on a part‐time, 12‐month maternity leave contract based at our Erskine Park Head Office. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, this role offers flexibility in hours (20–25 per week) while still providing exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

/n

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

/n

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments and adjustments

/n

Review and reconcile rebate accruals, ensuring accurate recognition of expenses and liabilities

/n

Manage statutory reporting and tax compliance requirements

/n





Support internal and external audits by providing financial documentation and explanations

/n

Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management

/n

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and regulatory requirements

/n

Ad hoc projects as required

/n

The Successful Candidate

/n

CPA/ CA qualified or working towards it

/n

1. 3 years in a similar role as Financial Accountant role

/n

Intermediate to advance Excel skills

/n

Experience working in a fast paced, deadline focused role

/n

You will have a solid understanding of ERP software (D365 is preferred)

/n

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

/n

Strong time management, ability to prioritise with the ability to work autonomously

/n
