De Goey Contractors PTY LTD are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson to join their team in Paget QLD. Duties & Responsibilities:

/n

/n

- Develop detailed designs for mechanical equipment and controls.

/n

- Provide details on component descriptions.

/n

- Resolve design problems.

/n

- Review and analyze specifications.

/n

- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery.

/n

- Compute dimensions of materials and purchase accordingly.

/n

- Correct operating deficiencies.

/n

- Draft technical details.

/n

- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.

/n

- Draw in minute details of structures.

/n

- Design the parts of a machine.

/n

- Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase.

/n





- Use Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems to prepare drawings.

/n

- Create and store drawings electronically.

/n

- Program drawings into automated manufacturing systems.

/n

- Prepare variations of design.

/n

- Explain concepts to manufacturers.

/n

- Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications.

/n/n

Skills and Abilities:

/n

/n

- A minimum of 3years' experience as a mechanical drafter or related role

/n

- Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;), tolerance stack analysis, and design for value engineering

/n

- Solid communication and collaboration skills

/n/n

Salary range is $75,000-$90,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available Applications open on 3rd August 2026 and closes on 3rd September 2026
