Tumby Bay Hospital is seeking a Personal Care Attendant to join its aged care team at the Tumby Bay Multipurpose Service in South Australia. This is a contract position running from 20 August to 18 September 2026, offering between 0.63 and 1.0 FTE (approximately 76 hours per fortnight on a full-time equivalent basis). The role is ideal for someone with a Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability Care Work who is ready to make a real difference in the lives of older people in a regional healthcare setting.

- Provide direct personal care and support to aged care residents in a busy multipurpose service

Preferred Requirements

- Experience in aged care or disability support,



with a solid understanding of personal care practices
- Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Robust communication skills and a compassionate, respectful approach to care
- Reliability and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it

Preferred Qualifications

- Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability Care Work (or equivalent qualification)
- Current Working with Children Check or equivalent clearance for your state
- Experience working in a hospital or multipurpose service environment
