We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Fence Maintenance Officer to join our Border Fence Maintenance team.
/n In this role, you'll help keep one of NSW's most significant regional assets in top condition by carrying out repairs and maintenance along the Border Fence — ensuring it remains secure and dog proof at all times.
/n
You'll work using a range of tools, vehicles, and machinery to complete maintenance work safely and effectively.
/n
What You'll Be Doing
/n
Carry out fence maintenance, repairs, and associated works to maintain fence integrity.
/n
Participate in team operations with other staff and contractors.
/n
Undertake maintenance tasks involving the safe use of tools, plant, and equipment.
/n
Maintain compliance with workplace safety, quality, and environmental standards.
/n
What We're Looking For
/n
Practical experience in general maintenance, fencing, or rural operations.
/n
Ability to work safely and efficiently in remote outdoor conditions.
/n
Sound knowledge of hand and power tools, and safe machinery use.
/n
Positive problem‐solving skills and the ability to work independently
/n
Commitment to Workplace Health and Safety principles.
