Team Industrial Services (Furmanite Australia) was established in Australia in 1969 and is a global leader in onsite repair and maintenance in industries such as Oil and Gas, Refining, Mining, Power Generation and Defense offering repair and maintenance services such as On-Site Machining, Pipeline Intervention (Hot Tapping / Line Stopping), Valve Repair and Testing, Controlled Bolting, Heat Treatment and other Engineering solutions.

Role Overview

/n

Reporting to the base Supervisor, the Mechanical Service Technician will be based at Teams Gladstone Service Delivery Centre. The position will require travelling to our clients' sites on a regular basis to fulfil the needs of our varied clients.

/n

The successful applicant will be working closely within a team environment, with a solid focus on Safety and Quality. The role demands excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills along with excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

- To work unsupervised in both workshop and on-site environments

/n

- To comply with company policies and procedures

/n

- To promote and market Teams' services, products and business solutions

/n

- Maintain accurate documentation in line with AS/NZS ISO 9001

/n





- To assist fellow employees in a supportive manner as an integral part of working in a team environment

/n

- Responsible to maintain the cleanliness/tidiness in the immediate area of your work, both in the workshop and on site.

Requirements

/n

/n

- Fitter and Turner, Fitter Machinist (Tradesmen or 4th Year Apprentice)

/n

- Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time

/n

- Must hold a valid Australian Driver's License

/n

- Must hold a Construction (White) Card

/n

- Ability to work shiftwork, weekends and Public Holidays as required

/n

- Ability to work in remote locations

/n

- Ability to climb ladders up to 50 meters

/n

- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

/n

- Ability to work in a team setting

/n

- Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities and work to deadlines

/n

- Good written and verbal communication skills in the English language

/n

- Ability to work to tight tolerances

/n

- Ability to pass pre-employment medical

/n/n

Experience in the following industries is an advantage but not essential.
