Commercial Cleaner - Veterinary Hospital

We are seeking a thorough, commercially experienced professional Cleaner to join our team at Stafford. At Queensland Veterinary Specialists, we thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, and diverse environment where you'll engage with a variety of pets in need of care.

The Clinic Caretaker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment within the veterinary clinic. This role supports the clinical team by ensuring facilities, equipment, and animal areas are kept in excellent condition.

Your role will involve a range of tasks including:

/n

- Maintain cleanliness of all clinic areas including consulting rooms, treatment areas, kennels, and common spaces

/n

- Ensure laundry (towels, bedding, uniforms) is washed, dried, and restocked

/n

- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low

/n

- Assistwith waste management, including general waste and clinical waste disposal

/n

- Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs, reporting larger issues)

/n

- Ensure outdoor areas are tidy and safe (e.g., gardens, walkways, waste areas)

/n

- Assistingwith any ad hoc duties alongside our team of animal experts

/n/n





This position offers a Monday to Friday 12pm – 8pm, with the possibility of flexible shifts to accommodate the team during busy periods.

What we're looking for:

- A minimum of 2 years of commercial cleaning experience

/n

- Preferably experience in cleaning within a medical or hospital setting

/n

- Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining high standards

/n

- A warm, approachable personality and strong work ethic

/n

- A team player with a dedication to hard work
