We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Loan Kit Technician to join our Port Melbourne team. In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for preparing, maintaining and coordinating surgical loan kits and instrument sets to ensure they are delivered accurately and on time.
/n

What You'll Be Doing
/n
/n
- Prepare, pack and dispatch loan kits and instrument sets for customer procedures
/n
- Receive, inspect, replenish and transact kits following surgical use
/n
- Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded within the ERP system
/n
- Maintain, clean and test surgical instruments and sets to ensure they are complete and fully functional
/n
- Work closely with Territory Managers, Customer Service, Supply Chain and hospital customers to meet surgical requirements
/n
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock control activities
/n
- Complete daily activity logs and missing item reporting
/n
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment
/n
- Participate in on-call and overtime rosters as required
/n
- Assist with annual stocktakes and cycle counts
/n/n
To be successful, you will have:
/n
/n
- At least 2 years' experience within a Loan Set, Medical Devices, Sterilisation Services, Theatre Stores or similar hospital environment
/n
- Knowledge of loan kit processes and inventory control
/n
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
/n
- Solid organisational and time management skills
/n
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude
/n
- The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy
/n
- A continuous improvement mindset

Additional Requirements

- Participation in an on-call roster
/n
- Some out-of-hours work as required
/n
- Availability for two weekend stocktakes/cycle counts each year

- A current Australian driver's licence
