Grano is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated hospitality skilled who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals and contributing to a busy kitchen setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, cook, and present meals in line with the Grano's menu and quality standards.

/n

- Ensure food is prepared fresh, safely, and consistently for customers.

/n

- Assist with menu planning, specials, and seasonal food offerings.

/n

- Maintain high standards of food presentation, portion control, and kitchen hygiene.

/n

- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies.

/n

- Ensure all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations are followed.

/n

- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.

/n

- Train and support junior kitchen staff where required.

/n

- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation.

/n

- Assist with managing food costs,



wastage, and kitchen productivity.

Requirements

/n

/n

- Previous experience as a Chef in a hotel, restaurant, pub, or similar hospitality environment.

/n

- Experience in an Italian Restaurant is hlighly desirable.

/n

- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.

/n

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

/n

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

/n

- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.

/n

- Relevant commercial cookery qualification is preferred.

/n

- Must be reliable, hardworking, and passionate about delivering quality food.

/n
