The Role
Reporting directly to the COO and Partners, you will manage end‑to‑end finance operations across the firm. Duties will include:
- Oversee all financial functions including billing, reporting, and audits
- Manage trust accounts in line with compliance requirements
- Forecasting and cashflow management
- Handling accounts payable and receivable, including debtor management
- Process payroll via Xero, including super and tax obligations
- Manage corporate credit cards and reconcile expenses
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to Partners
- Work within LEAP practice management system
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a similar role in a law firm
- Strong background in trust accounting (essential)
- Confidence working autonomously and managing end‑to‑end accounts
- Accounting degree would be highly regarded but not essential
