- Build and maintain productive relationships with contractors, consultants, government agencies, local authorities, industry partners and community stakeholders.
- Identify and manage complex issues, emerging risks and politically sensitive matters, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
- Apply program and project management principles to support the successful delivery of infrastructure investment programs.

To be successful in this role,

you will be a strategic and solutions-focused leader with extensive experience delivering civil construction and transport infrastructure projects. You will have robust technical expertise, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex operational environment.

You will bring:

- A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent qualification recognised by Engineers Australia.
- Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
- Comprehensive knowledge of road and bridge construction, contract administration and engineering operations.
- Strong project and program management skills with a proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure outcomes.

- Well-developed stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills.
- A commitment to sound governance, risk management and continuous improvement.
- A current Class C driver's licence.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of major transport infrastructure programs, lead high-performing teams and help shape the future of Queensland's road network while delivering positive outcomes for communities across the region.

A criminal history check will be undertaken on the recommended applicant as part of the selection process.
