Job Description:

As the initial point of contact, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who step through our doors! Your role will involve delivering exceptional customer service to welcome young people and their families, skilfully guiding them to relevant expert team members for further assistance.

yourtown is a trusted provider of services for young people, with a focus on mental health and wellbeing, long-term unemployment, prevention of youth suicide, child protection, as well as support for those experiencing domestic and family violence.

Based at Kingaroy, the Youth Guide creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who step through our doors! As the initial point of contact, your role will involve delivering exceptional customer service to welcome young people and their families, skilfully guiding them to relevant expert team members for further assistance.

Your role will include:

- Be the heart and face of yourtown and warmly greet all staff, members, and visitors to our site.
- Craft, plan, and deliver fantastic weekly events, bringing young people & the community together with the perfect blend of hospitality and energy.
- Provide relevant information and support regarding, transport, amenities, and areas of interest around the site.
- Proactively find opportunities to provide positive and friendly service to staff and clients.
- Provide administration and office support to the wider team and organise office supplies and catering as required.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. Normal business hours are 8:30AM to 5PM. However, on Thursdays, this role will start at 10:30AM with a 7PM finish.

- Demonstrated experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- You enjoy cooking and utilising your creative flair to cook meals for our young people.
