Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Social Media Manager to own the social media strategy and execution for an emerging e-commerce brand, creating scroll-stopping content that turns followers into customers. This is a hands-on role where you will manage everything from video production and community engagement to analytics and content scheduling across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. You will work directly with the founder to shape the brand voice and grow a loyal online community.

Client Overview
Our client is a growing online retail business based in Melbourne, Australia, specializing in clothing and product sales. They are building their digital presence and personal brand across social platforms to drive engagement and sales.

Schedule
Flexible part-time schedule | Monday - Friday, 4 hours per day AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

- Create engaging video content and reels for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Draft compelling copy and captions that align with brand voice and drive conversions
- Schedule and publish posts according to a strategic content calendar
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments and direct messages
- Monitor audience sentiment and build authentic rapport with followers
- Conduct monthly research and analytics to track performance and identify trends
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for content pivots and improvements
- Coordinate cross-platform campaigns to maximize reach and engagement

Requirements

- Proven experience managing social media for Australian, European, or American companies
- Strong portfolio demonstrating video content creation and social media campaigns
- Proficiency with TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook content formats and best practices
- Experience creating reels, short-form video content, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently during Australian business hours
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing social media metrics

Qualifications

Nice-to-Haves:

- E-commerce & fashion marketing experience




- Coaching or personal brand building background
- Shopify or e-commerce platform familiarity
