The Role

An chance has become available for a Product Owner to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

- Provide authoritative and timely advice to stakeholders on the strategy, optimisation and support for digital products
- Engage and collaborate with the Digital Experience team and other stakeholders in the delivery of product initiatives
- Provide well engineered solutions with minimal technical direction and supervision
- Manage a set of actionable performance criteria/success metrics specific for each product
- Lead in the development of solution options, product improvement priorities, emerging trend analysis and cost estimates for digital product initiatives

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

- While not mandatory, at least five years working in a digital environment, at least 2 years working in products and a relevant tertiary qualification would be highly regarded
- Two years or more experience leading and managing a digital product team would be advantageous
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $140,796 - $151,101 per annum

The Digital Health and Innovation division has been established to drive significant service improvements and digital transformation opportunities,



in alignment with the strategic objectives outlined in the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Services Strategic Plan 2028.

The DHI portfolio consists of interconnected functional business units and teams, including Digital Project Delivery, Digital Experience, Technology Operations, Health Information and Digital Security and Architecture. DHI is responsible for enhancing efficiency and service delivery improvements to optimise Health Service performance. It also oversees strategic partnerships that help the Health Service implement alternative models of service delivery, ensuring value for money, and driving improvements in performance, and innovation.
