About the role

We are seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to support the development of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Wind, Solar and BESS. Working closely with Development and Engineering teams, you will provide spatial analysis, mapping and GIS data management to support site selection, project feasibility, planning and design.

Key responsibilities:

- Undertake GIS-based site screening and constraint mapping, assessing planning, environmental, heritage, flooding, land ownership and other site considerations.
- Map grid infrastructure, transmission lines, substations,



easements and other key infrastructure to support project development and site selection.
- Support renewable energy project layouts, including solar terrain analysis, wind turbine layouts, access tracks and BESS spatial constraints.
- Maintain GIS datasets, including cadastre, land ownership, aerial imagery and project-specific spatial layers across ArcGIS Pro, QGIS and ArcGIS Online.
- Produce accurate, high-quality mapping for development applications, landowner discussions, project teams and presentations.
- Support Development, Engineering and Environmental teams with spatial analysis, data management and ad-hoc mapping requirements.

Skills and experience:

- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Spatial Science, Environmental Science, Geography or a related discipline.
- 4+ years' practical GIS experience, ideally within utility-scale renewable energy, infrastructure or a related sector.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS, with experience using ArcGIS Online.
- Strong understanding of spatial analysis, constraint mapping and elevation datasets, including DEM, DTM and LiDAR.
- Experience working with CAD, GIS and Google Earth formats, including DXF/DWG and KML/KMZ.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, professional cartographic outputs.
- Basic Python, ArcPy or ModelBuilder experience would be advantageous.
