What you'll be doing
The Team Leader Medical Rostering leads and coordinates transactional medical rostering services across Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD), ensuring systems are operationally sound, data processing is optimal, and users are supported to correctly utilise rostering systems.
The role also oversees the medical administration rostering team, contributing to policy development, Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), and performance improvement to support safe, efficient workforce coverage.

Selection Criteria * Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience using and supporting large, complex payroll/rostering systems and understanding 24-hour rostering practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills with a strong customer service focus and ability to maintain confidentiality while ensuring day-to-day operations are undertaken within tight timeframes.
- Advanced knowledge of and demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant NSW Health/SNSWLHD policies, Awards, legislation and agreements related to rostering and pay.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to produce and interpretate rostering system reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to educate and support system users.
- Proven organisational and time-management skills with ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/ travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays as required.
