The role

The Statutory Planner is responsible for the delivery of statutory planning outcomes in accordance with the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme and the Planning and Environment Act 1987, through: assessing and processing planning permit applications providing professional and timely responses to statutory planning enquiries supporting senior officers in representations at VCAT and other public forums as required

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have: qualifications in Planning or a related discipline relevant experience, ideally in local government a positive attitude and passion for excellent customer service analytical and problem solving skills
