CUSTOMER SERVICE / INTERNAL SALES

A reputable global organisation located in the Sutherland Shire are looking for their next team member.

Looking for a motivated Customer Service / Internal Sales professional to join a dynamic team.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing incoming customer enquiries, processing orders, and providing product information and support.

You'll work closely with various departments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to handle a rapid-paced workload efficiently.

If you have experience in customer service or internal sales (products not services), problem solving and work well in a team-oriented environment, this role is an excellent fit for you.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing, submitting and managing tenders and period contracts as required
- Raising and managing quotes for customers and the Sales team, including follow-up and status tracking
- Liaising with overseas factories,



product managers and engineers to identify suitable products and resolve technical/product issues
- Reading and interpreting specification sheets, drawings and material requirements, and recommending alternate or equivalent products where appropriate
- Managing special product and pricing arrangements, including calculating and monitoring margin and profit
- Attending to client enquiries via email and phone
- Entering customer orders and creating picking slips and invoices for the warehouse.
- Following up with warehouse personnel in relation to sending goods to customers.
- Responding to customer requests for pricing and stock/product enquiries or delivery requests.
- Liaising with internal and external staff, including other associated companies’ customers, with relevant information within the required time frame and in accordance with company policy.
- Follow up on late deliveries or missing deliveries with the freight company.
- Maintain and update the customer database.
