About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Representative to join the team at Automatic Vending Specialists Pty Ltd. This full time role is based in Seven Hills, NSW and will see you playing a key part in driving the company's sales objectives.

What you'll be doing

Your role is predominantly B2B selling across a range of industries. You are required to prospect for new opportunities, manage and respond to incoming leads, and manage key leads created from our preferred supplier status with many of our larger customers. Your role requires you to:

- Engaging with incoming leads (phone, email or website) to understanding their needs and present one of our solutions

- Creating and sending email proposals, offering tailored vending solutions

- Managing the lead to sales cycle from start to finish, including ongoing communication and entering and updating progress in our CRM - Salesforce

- Converting the lead to a sale and collecting and documenting the customers details, requirements & specification to allow our tailored solution to be built to the customer’s needs

- Attend trade shows and follow up leads generated during trade shows

- Negotiating commercial terms and closing sales

- Maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers and strategic partners

- Providing exceptional customer service and support

- Reporting on sales activities and pipeline

- Contributing to the development of the company's sales strategy

- Assisting with management of the company's social media platforms

Report directly to the Sales Manager. You will be mentored and provided ongoing guidance, support and direction. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and remain under their supervision to ensure you are trained, supported and aligned with the sales team’s processes and objectives.

What we're looking for





We are seeking a candidate that can demonstrate the following attributes/qualities

- Demonstrated experience in a B2B sales role, or sales coordination/administration

- A team focused player that is honest, authentic, kind and has a sense of humour

- Takes ownership and invests in the role, can work independently, while still following procedures

- Willing to see a task through from start to finish, irrespective of obstacles.

- Adaptable and flexible as the day or role changes

- Solution orientated and a problem solver.

- A good listener that is curious about people and their needs, and asks questions to better understand

- Good people person with an ability to talk professionally, be assertive as required, and think on your feet.

- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with clients

- Excellent negotiation and sales closing skills

- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

- Proficiency with CRM tools and accounting software - (Salesforce and Myob) and the ability to maintain accurate sales data

- A results-driven, proactive and collaborative approach
