**The Role:**
In this volunteer role, you’ll be paired with a senior to provide regular social support visits in their home. Activities are guided by shared interests and may include conversation, listening to music, playing board games or simply enjoying a relaxed chat. Visits are approximately 2 hours and focused on building trust, confidence and companionship.

**Our Client:**
You’ll be supporting a female in her late 60s who spends a lot of time on her own in her home due to anxiety. This is where you come in. Through your weekly social support visits, you will assist this individual to continue to live at home with meaningful social connection.
This individual is a Collingwood supporter, Enjoys different types of music and used to dance - everything from ballroom to rock 'n' roll, and was a jeweller by trade.

**About You:**
* Lives in and around Corio or is happy to travel.
* Possess clear communication skills.
* Compassionate, patient and an excellent listener.
* Passionate about giving back to your community.
* Conducts yourself with open-mindedness and respect, ensuring the privacy, confidentiality, and dignity of our clients is always maintained.
* Comfortable using technology to provide feedback and connect with the Volunteer Program.
* Availability for a adaptable six-month commitment.

**Time Commitment:**
2 hour per week or fortnight, Monday – Friday between 9:00 – 5:00pm.
