The Opportunity

Jazcorp Australia is seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Membership, Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our Health & Human Services Division.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining membership engagement and growth, marketing and communications, stakeholder relationships, sponsorship and event coordination.

You'll work with members, prospective members, sponsors, speakers and stakeholders across government, health, disability, housing, community services, academia, research and industry.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building professional relationships, is confident picking up the phone and following up opportunities, and can take ownership of their responsibilities while working effectively within established priorities and direction.

The position will initially be 2 days per week from our Elizabeth Quay office in Perth, approximately five minutes' walk from Elizabeth Quay Station, with the potential for additional days and responsibilities as the Division grows.

Your role

Your responsibilities will span 5 key areas:

- Membership & Stakeholder Engagement

- Manage membership enquiries, onboarding, engagement and renewals across NDISDA, NDISLINK and Impact Housing.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective members.

- Proactively follow up membership and engagement opportunities by telephone and email.

- Support membership acquisition, engagement and retention.

- Maintain accurate member, prospect and stakeholder information within the CRM.

- Identify opportunities for members to participate in events, programs and other initiatives.

- Liaise professionally with government, regulators, universities, researchers, industry experts, providers and other stakeholders.

Previous membership experience is essential.

Marketing, Social Media & Communications

- Coordinate marketing activities across the Health & Human Services Division.

- Manage LinkedIn and relevant social media channels.

- Develop professional content promoting memberships, events, speakers, sponsors and initiatives.

- Prepare and distribute newsletters and email marketing campaigns.

- Source, write and edit newsletter and industry content.

- Coordinate member, sponsor and speaker profiles.

- Manage event invitations, reminders and post-event communications.

- Maintain professional and consistent messaging across channels.

Marketing, LinkedIn/social media and newsletter experience are essential.

Conferences, Summits & Events

Working with and under the direction of the Event Director, you'll support the coordination and delivery of Jazcorp's national conferences, summits, roundtables, workshops, forums and networking events.

Responsibilities include:

- Supporting event planning and coordination.

- Managing assigned timelines, tasks, invitations and registrations.

- Liaising with speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, venues, suppliers and attendees.

- Coordinating speaker, sponsor and exhibitor requirements.

- Maintaining accurate event and attendee information.

- Supporting event marketing and communications.

- Monitoring assigned actions and deadlines.

- Supporting event delivery and post-event activities.

- Escalating relevant matters to the Event Director as required.

We're looking for someone who can show initiative and take ownership of assigned responsibilities while working effectively within the direction, priorities and processes established by the Event Director.

Previous event coordination experience is essential.

Events are held in Western Australia and the Eastern States.



Some interstate travel may be required from time to time; however, regular interstate travel is not a requirement and attendance at every interstate event will not necessarily be required.

Follow-Up & Relationship Development

Professional follow-up is an important part of this position.

You will:

- Follow up attendees, members and industry contacts by telephone and email.

- Follow up prospective members, sponsors and partners.

- Respond to enquiries and expressions of interest.

- Identify membership, sponsorship and engagement opportunities.

- Record outcomes and next actions within the CRM.

- Ensure agreed follow-up actions are completed professionally and on time.

- A professional, confident and engaging telephone manner is essential.

Sponsors & Partners

- Build and maintain professional relationships with sponsors and partners.

- Coordinate sponsorship benefits and agreed deliverables.

- Liaise with sponsors before, during and after events.

- Coordinate sponsor profiles, content and promotional materials.

- Ensure agreed sponsor recognition across events, newsletters and social media.

- Support sponsorship renewals and identify new opportunities.

- Maintain accurate sponsor information and follow-up activity.

What we are looking for;

You'll be a professional, organised and proactive person who is comfortable managing several areas of responsibility and communicating with a broad range of stakeholders.

To be considered, you should have:

- Demonstrated membership experience – essential

- Event coordination experience – essential

- Marketing and communications experience

- Health and Human Services experience (Disability/Aged Care/ Social Impact)

- Solid LinkedIn and social media experience

- Demonstrated newsletter and email marketing experience

- Experience using CRM and membership management systems

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- A professional and confident telephone manner

- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail

- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement

- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

- A proactive, solutions-focused and creative mindset

- The ability to work independently, take ownership and demonstrate initiative

- The ability to follow direction and work effectively within established reporting structures

- A strong commitment to following up people and opportunities through to completion

- A positive, skilled and collaborative approach

Systems & Technology

You should be confident using technology and digital platforms, including:

- CRM platforms such as monday.com or similar

- Membership management software

- LinkedIn and social media platforms

- Newsletter and email marketing platforms

- Contact and stakeholder databases

Experience with Cvent would be highly regarded, although experience with comparable event management platforms will also be considered.

Industry Experience – Highly Regarded

Experience within Health & Human Services would be advantageous, particularly exposure to one or more of the following:

- Healthcare

- Disability and the NDIS

- Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

- Supported Independent Living (SIL)

- Psychosocial Safety

- Aged care

- Hospital to Home

- Community services

- Housing and services supporting vulnerable Australians

Experience engaging professionally with government, regulators, universities,



researchers, health services or senior industry stakeholders would also be highly regarded.

Location, Remuneration & Growth

This position will initially be 2 days per week from our Elizabeth Quay office in Perth, approximately 5 minutes' walk from Elizabeth Quay Station and close to paid parking

A competitive salary will be offered based on experience, together with opportunities for performance-based incentives or commission linked to agreed KPIs, including membership growth and other agreed objectives.

There is potential for the position to increase in days and responsibilities as the Health & Human Services Division continues to grow.
