AMIGA Montessori Golden Grove is looking for a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to support our team in delivering high-quality, child-centred and Montessori-inspired education and care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring educators, strengthening educational practice and helping create engaging learning environments where both children and educators can thrive.
About the Role
As Educational Leader, you will work closely with the Centre Manager and leadership team to guide and support educational practice across the service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting high-quality educational programs and practices
- Mentoring and coaching educators across the service
- Supporting educators with observations, planning, documentation and critical reflection
- Promoting and embedding Montessori philosophy and practices
- Supporting the implementation of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
- Driving consistency and quality across learning environments
- Supporting the service's Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement
- Providing guidance and professional development to educators
- Supporting robust child safety, active supervision and compliance practices
- Building a positive culture of collaboration, reflection and continuous learning
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will:
- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification
- Have demonstrated experience working as a Room Leader or above
- Have strong experience leading a room within Montessori practices
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Standards and educational programming
- Be confident mentoring, coaching and supporting educators
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Be passionate about creating high-quality learning experiences for children
- Be committed to continuous improvement and reflective practice
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, all relevant clearances and qualifications required for the role
