We require a suitably qualified Allied Health Assistant with previous experience in the acute inpatient and/or rehabilitation settings to join our experienced and dynamic Allied Health team.

Role Overview

This role covers a diverse caseload, working across orthopaedics, oncology, cardiac, general surgery, reconditioning and inpatient rehabilitation.

Tasks will include one-on-one patient management, assisting the Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists with patient education, exercise and mobility, plus some general administrative duties.

Responsibilities

- Effective management of a busy and diverse clinical caseload
- Prioritisation and workload allocation
- Administrative duties such as equipment auditing and ordering, and maintaining stock of patient resources
- Report and document patient information
