Trade Assistant - Bindery / Print Finishing rotating roster

Our client located in Berrinba is one of Australia's leading Label Printing businesses.

As a result of business growth, we are currently seeking a Printers Assistant to join the team in a permanent full-time role, working a rotating roster of day and afternoon shifts.

In this role you will be responsible for assisting with all print production across the business.

About the role

- Assisting Printers with material preparation and delivery
- Managing print jobs closely for quality, consistency, and accuracy
- Assist with inline finishing on print machines when requested
- Cleaning the machines and upkeep of maintenance and a tidy work area
- Manual labour - lifting of annilox rollers, cylinders & dies up to 25kg maximum
- Working with ink and solvents
- Completion of job bag tickets upon completion of print jobs

About you





- Preferably have some experience within the printing industry
- Have previously worked within a manufacturing workplace
- Quality focused - you will adhere to quality standards
- Capable of achieving production targets
- Capable of passing a medical test with drug & alcohol screening
- Have or be willing to obtain a current National Police Check.

Shift rotation

Shift rotation is 2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on afternoons.

Day shift: Monday to Thursday 6.00am till 4.30pm

Afternoon shift: Monday to Thursday 4.25pm till 2.55am
