- Previous experience in cooking & preparing nutritious meals in a similar role desirable - childcare centre, aged care or similar environment
- Experience in providing allergy-safe food
- Current Working with Children Check
- Food Safety Supervisor Course qualification or willingness to obtain

About the role

- Prepare healthy & nutritious meals for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea & late snack for up to 82 children each day, including the preparation of purees and special diet meals.
- Menu planning, in accordance with the centre's nutrition policy and guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen & clean up after meals.

- Help to purchase kitchen and centre consumables, including food supplies and cleaning chemicals.
- Work in a brand recent, large, commercial kitchen.
