About the Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our Sydney team. This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of projects from concept through to commissioning while working closely with clients to deliver high-quality automation solutions.

In this role you will:

- Design, develop, commission and support PLC, SCADA and OT Systems.
- Work directly with customers to understand requirements and develop cutting-edge automation solutions.
- Deliver projects from specification through to commissioning and ongoing support.
- Provide technical guidance during the pre-sales process.
- Prepare technical documentation including functional descriptions, user manuals and commissioning documentation.
- Support continuous improvement across engineering standards and project delivery.




- Deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, reliability, and safety

What We're Looking For:

We're interested in speaking with people who have:

- A Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or similar)
- Proven experience in automation and control system design
- Strong experience with Ignition SCADA and OT Networks (preferred)
- Exposure to PLC platforms, industrial networks, and system integration
- Experience working within a Systems Integrator, OEM, or End User environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- A commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
