We are seeking three experienced HV Substation Field Service Engineers to support a pipeline of high-voltage substation projects across Australia.

The work will span installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance , with engineers supporting projects across multiple states. Sydney-based candidates are preferred.

We are seeking three experienced HV Substation Field Service Engineers to support a pipeline of high-voltage substation projects across Australia.

The work will span installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance , with engineers supporting projects across multiple states. Sydney-based candidates are preferred.

Critical Technical Requirements

Candidates must bring solid, hands-on experience working with HV substation equipment from 66kV to 500kV , including:

- AIS and GIS equipment
- HV circuit breakers
- Generator circuit breakers
- Current transformers (CTs)
- Voltage transformers (VTs)
- Disconnectors/isolators
- Associated HV primary plant and substation equipment

Strong practical experience across installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance is essential.

Electrical Licence - Strongly Preferred

A current Australian electrical licence is strongly preferred.





We are particularly interested in fully licensed electricians with substantial hands-on HV substation experience .

Experience working with equipment from leading HV OEMs will also be highly regarded.

The Role

Depending on the project, responsibilities may include:

- Installation and assembly of HV substation equipment
- Testing and commissioning
- Planned and corrective maintenance
- Fault finding and technical troubleshooting
- Equipment inspections and condition assessments
- Working closely with commissioning, project and site teams

This is a field-based role requiring flexibility to travel across Australia as project requirements dictate .

What We Need

- Strong hands-on 66kV-500kV substation experience
- Installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance capability
- Experience with AIS, GIS and HV primary equipment
- Experience with circuit breakers, generator circuit breakers, CTs, VTs and disconnectors
- Strong fault-finding and field-service capability
- Ability and willingness to travel across Australia
- Current Australian electrical licence - strongly preferred
- Experience with leading HV OEM equipment - highly regarded
