Remuneration: $79,419 -$113,301 per annum

What you'll be doing
As an Occupational Therapist Level 1/2,
you will provide high-quality Occupational Therapy services to consumers accessing Western Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented interventions that support consumers to achieve greater independence, participation and community reintegration.
Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy and functional assessments to identify consumer goals and occupational performance needs
Deliver individual and group-based therapeutic interventions that promote recovery, independence and engagement in meaningful life roles
Collaborate with consumers, carers, families and multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate treatment plans and support continuity of care
Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice activities
Maintain accurate clinical documentation, administrative records and service data in line with professional and organisational standards

Selection Criteria:
Demonstrates understanding of mental health conditions and their effects on individuals in inpatient mental health units,
and supports recovery through the application of Occupational Therapy
Demonstrates clinical experience in mental health occupational therapy practice, or skills and competencies that are transferrable to a mental health setting
Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary team, working both independently and in collaborative practice
Demonstrates effective written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills with consumers, teams and agencies, with experience in clinical documentation and formal reporting.
Commitment to continuing professional education and participation in quality improvement, evidence based practice, and clinical supervision
Current unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence with a willingness use for work purpose
