Pro Climbing Tree Services Pro Climbing Tree Service is seeking an experienced Tree Worker / Arborist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional tree care services, including pruning, tree maintenance, removals, and vegetation management while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental practices.

Task & responsibilities

- Provide professional advice regarding tree selection, planting considerations, ongoing maintenance, and appropriate tree care practices
- Inspect trees to identify health issues, structural concerns, potential hazards, and recommended treatment options
- Perform tree climbing activities using ropes, harnesses, and other climbing equipment to safely access branches and elevated areas
- Operate elevated platforms (EWPs) where required to complete tree maintenance and removal works
- Carry out pruning, trimming, and canopy management of trees and shrubs using chainsaws, hand saws, and specialised arboriculture tools
- Remove damaged, diseased, or hazardous trees while ensuring secure work practices are followed
- Undertake stump removal and stump grinding activities to clear remaining tree bases and root material
- Conduct vegetation clearing around overhead electrical and telecommunications infrastructure while following relevant safety procedures
- Assist with land clearing, green waste processing, timber removal, and site clean-up activities




- Maintain arboriculture equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure safe and effective operation
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and comply with industry standards and regulations

Qualification & experience

- Proven experience working as a Tree Worker, Arborist, or similar role within the arboriculture industry
- Relevant qualifications
- Strong knowledge of tree maintenance, pruning techniques, and safe tree removal practices
- Experience with rope climbing systems, harnesses, and arboriculture climbing equipment
- Competent operation of chainsaws, hand tools, wood chippers, and related equipment
- Experience operating elevated work platforms (EWP) is highly regarded
- Ability to assess tree conditions and identify potential hazards
- Understanding of Australian arboriculture safety standards and practices
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor work in various conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence preferred
