Located in Paddington, Sydney NSW, Barbetta Pty Limited, trading as Barbetta, is an established Italian restaurant specialising in authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Trade Waiter to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional table service, taking food and beverage orders while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests.
- Recommend menu items, daily specials and beverages while responding to customer enquiries in a knowledgeable and friendly manner.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with venue standards.
- Set up and clear tables, maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout the dining area.
- Process customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.




- Liaise effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve service-related issues professionally.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), and workplace health and safety requirements.

About You

- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Trade Waiter or in a similar hospitality role.
- Robust customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Well-presented, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality customer service.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
