About the role:

The City is looking for a detail-focused, solutions-driven Finance Officer who enjoys working across diverse financialfunctions and takes pride in keeping things accurate, compliant andrunning smoothly. This unique fixed term opportunity is to backfillan internal secondment.

The role is part of a greater multi-functional finance team,where team members perform functions across the breadth of the teamas required. It primarily administers the City’s core AccountsReceivable functions, and is a key contributor to insuranceadministration,



and potentially asset accounting support, whiledelivering exceptional service to both internal and externalcustomers.

What you’ll bring to the role:

- Demonstrated experience in a multi-functional finance-basedposition.
- Demonstrated experience in, and understanding of theAccounts Receivable Function including account management anddebt recovery.
- Demonstrated understanding of general insurance relatedmatters including claims procedures.
- Sound knowledge of financial accounting procedures,including with regard to Asset Accounting.

Pre-employment requirements:

- Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
- National Police Clearance (less than six months old).
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
- Pre-employment medical (arranged and paid for by theCity).
