Manufacturing Sales Coordinator and Estimator

At Brisbane Post and Beams we are proud to say we have over 20 years in the industry and have built a reputation for providing high-quality products and friendly professional service. We specialise in providing steel house columns, steel beams and steel stringers for the domestic and renovating markets and are actively searching for a new Estimator to be a part of our growing team!

This role will be a 50/50 split across both end to end sales and estimation work to support the growth of the business.

Day-to-day duties will include:

Assessing customer needs and providing accurate information, quotes and cost estimates.

Use negotiation and sales skills to convert enquiries into confirmed orders.

Creating job cards for any accepted estimates

Manage and report on your sales pipeline,



including participation in sales meetings and presenting sales data to senior management.

Communicate with fabrication and administration teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and all required information is accurately recorded in internal systems.

Successful applicants will have:

Previous experience in a similar position in the manufacturing or steel industry is highly desirable

Sound understanding of the sales-to-production workflow process

Eagerness to learn internal systems

Strong communication skills and technical skills across the Microsoft suite including Excel

High attention to detail and solid problem solving

Must have a valid drivers license

Must have full working rights in Australia
