We are a growing business, and are taking on an additional Microvellum draftsperson to increase our capacity.

Role

We're hiring a Microvellum draftsperson to engineer our jobs for production and install.

You'll work off approved shop drawings and data-rich site measures, and turn them into production-ready output for the factory.

This is a narrow role on purpose. You're not the design coordinator. You're not constantly chasing information. You're not managing the client. You engineer.

This role is for you if:

You like hard problems - Every job is a one-off and most of them throw something new at you.

You take pride in getting it exactly right - Not “roughly right”.

You care what happens downstream - When your engineering is right, the factory hums and the installers have a smooth day.





You know that sh*t needs to get done - We don't have all day, let's keep things moving.

Responsibilities

Engineer approved shop drawings into production-ready Microvellum output.

Get the job right for the factory and install teams.

Support the factory and the installers through the build.

Work to our standards and checklists on every job.

Meet throughput quotas (high standards for quality and output)

Requirements

Highly skilled with Microvellum. Not "familiar with." You've driven it daily on real jobs and you know what it takes to get it done with quality and speed.

High-end joinery experience. You have worked on complex, high-end residential projects.

Able to work to a lot of requirements at once. Use our checklists and standards every time.

Trade background preferred. You know how things are built. You’ve experienced the thrill of exceptional engineering and the pain of when it is wrong.
